About me
My name is Colby Bowers. I was fortunate enough to start my career off with NLPS last year (2017). I was born in Bonnyville and raised on a farm just north of Ardmore. I graduated from BCHS in 2011 and took a year to work in the oil field. The oil field wasn't for me and I decided to pursue my interest in Physical Education. I attended MacEwan University in 2012/2013 and then transferred over to the UofA in 2014. I graduated from the UofA with a combined Bkin/BEd degree with a major in physical education and a minor in English. I enjoy being active, reading, and competing in the sport of rodeo. Currently, I am a member of the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association where I compete in the team roping with my brother Bradon.
I am intensely interested in health, wellness, and the power of the mind. I believe that health and wellness are essential to creating a sustainable high quality of life. I strive to ensure that all of my students leave me as healthy, kind, and empowered individuals.
